I have extremely thick, wavy, frizzy and poofy hair. I want to but a straightener but it needs to work well (no kinks and straight as a board) for around $150. Which one should I buy?

P. S.
If you think you can convince me to buy one that's over $150, go ahead and try.

Everyone is right don't buy a CHI and visit www.folica.com thats where I got my SOLIA and it works great. I have your type of hair and I hate it I straighten it every two or three days and I use Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum it will help with the fizzy and poofyness. But do your research on www.folica.com it is a great web site it can really help you.

First of all do not buy a Chi no matter what people say a Chi can break easily and burns your hair, sometimes people say its the best well it won't work for everyones hair. Get a Sedu or a Paul Mitchell. A Sedu makes your hair soft and shiny, also dosen't pull your hair off. And it has heat control so you can get the right temp, for your hair type. you can get straightners at www.folica.com it costs about $125.95 its the 1 1/2 inch it works best becuase you have thick poofy hair.

GHD cost 190.00 in www.folica.com it seals your natural oils, moistures your hair, and it gives it a nice shine. It keeps your hair from frizzing up. It dosen't pull your hair either.

These two straighteners are really good!! now since you said you wanted one that cost less than 150 you could get the Sedu. Also, for your frizz you could use frizz-ease products or Bumble and Bumble.

I LOVE PAUL MITCHELL!! This one keeps the moisture in your hair with out over drying it like the the others Mine came with a life time warranty. it goes up to 400 degrees. Heats up in less than 5 seconds. I LOVE IT. You can find one on ebay for about 90 - 100.00 dollars. or you can go to a salon and buy one 100-150 dollars.

DO NOT BUY A CHI!!! I seen a girl use it and she came to the salon and it melted to her HAIR!!!!

If you get it on ebay sometimes they will send you free
Paul mitchell Hair products. Up to you!!

I recommened this one
http://www.folica.com/Sedu_Ionic_Cera_d1560.html

Both because it gets amazing reviews and also my friend [whose hair is similar to how you described yours] has one and she says its great.

BUT TRY NOT TO STRAIGHTEN YOUR HAIR TOO OFTEN I WARN YOU. Any professional would tell you the same thing.

It causes ridiculous amounts of damage, especially if you do it every day. And your hair will die faster, and it will suck as you get older. So sometimes you should just wear your natural hair. If you want, here's a couple ways to wear it. You could:

scrunch it into waves, wear a headband, get bangs and pull it back into a high or low ponytail, or wear it in braids.
