probably not, makes me extremly proud to be british. the majority of us care about others, there are a few selfish people out there but i dont give them the time of day!

The USA is twice as generous as us if you measure it by percentage of GDP. We are the next 'most generous' in the world in terms of individual giving, but this still only amounts to £13 per person per *month*, which is nothing to write home about.

Incidentally, only a third of Comic Relief money goes abroad. All Children in Need money stays in the UK.
