Talk to your crush privately. Tell your crush your feelings for him and explain to him that you only ran because you were surprised. No, it was not stupid. Your crush should understand that you were surprised. Talk to him. That is the best way to deal with it. And it was not stupid to run. Who cares if everyone was staring at you. Forget about those other people and concentrate on what you are going to say when you talk to your crush.

yeah that was pretty much stupid but that happens when somebody likes u and wants 2 go out with u so ask him out or was it a girl i hope it was a boy anyway if u just stood there u must have felt a connection so go out with this person.

I personally don't think it was stupid at all. If you were genuinely surprized, you were simply expressing how you felt by standing there in a mild shock. If he really is your crush, and seem to like you, you should try to expand the relationship to something further.

u def shouldnt have ran lol but trust me when i kissed my crush i was the same way in utter shock but yeah you prbably schould have kissed him back but hey if he kissed you once then chances are you will get the chance again and then kiss him back

dont worry about what u shud have done, iv seen it happen b4 and its normal to be shocked, altho that was a girl kissing a guy, i thought if it happened other way around there was a slap
