it takes about 21 days iam irish you need 2 passport black and white photos not colour also you need your full birth certificate not your half irish people will understand and you need to be born in ireland or a family member if you are english and your family are english you wont get one the best passports to have is the irish one i have travelled to america ,australia , the far east iam in china at the minute and there are loads of irish pubs and because iam irish and not english i drink and eat for free this also happened to me in boston this is the advantage of having one

if your from the north or south of ireland and can make it to dublin you can get a full passport in under a day from the head office. other than that it can take up to 6 weeks. but usually 2-4 weeks is about average.

it does not take long even if you don't do it express the most it takes it 2 weeks it is very quick just make sure you complete the form and send the pictures and money. their will be no problem.
