I only have a curling iron and a flat iron. I was wondering if there were any home-made ways to crimp your hair without buying a hair crimper!

^ yeah wash your hair and braid it- or braid it and then mist it with water and sleep on it...

After you shower while your hair's still damp, you can put your hair in a bunch of braids and sleep with them like that. In the morning, take them out and your hair will look crimped. Only lasts til the next time you get it wet, but it's kind of a fun one-day look change to do.

The best is wet hair braided and left overnight. You can also use ripped pieces of cloth and wrap your hair to get a crimp/curl style. When you braid your hair, don't forget to braid right down to the very bottom to get the best look.

You could braid when you hair is wet, sleep on it and have crimped hair in the morning. That's what I always did. The tighter and less hair that you use the tighter the crimp.

I would take a shower, and than put your hair in braids. The more you put in, the more of a crimpish style you will get. Sometimes if you put a lot in, your hair can get poofy. So i would try a couple your first try.
