I am a Christian and I observe the Sabbath from sundown on Friday to sundown on Saturday.
Takeing a shower or bath has got nothing to do with anything? Telling everyone you take a bath everyday has what to do with the price of tea in China?

This is a new one on me. I'm Christian and I bathe every day, including Sundays. I have never heard of anyone who does this, but that sounds gross.

This certainly isn't something that is found in scripture nor have I, a life long Christian, ever heard it. Does someone you know truly adhere to this? If so, I would be curious to know from where the information comes.

Maybe that's just one person's reasoning...? All the Christians I know, including ordained ministers, take showers on Sunday.

that is plain nasty. I take a shower 365 days a year. what makes Sunday any different from any other day of the year. I knew this woman who hardly took showers and boy did she smell that you had to hold your breath near her.

Jesus Himself was baptized in water. Why do you believe that Christians can't take a shower on Sunday?.

I have never heard of this, but if i had to give a reason, It might be considered work on the Sabbath, even though Christians can work on the Sabbath.

If your comment and question are legit, Christians do take showers on Sunday. Why wouldn't they?

God doesn't want us to be dirty when we go to church and would you want to dishonor him in this way?

Of course he accepts all of us any way we are as long as we worship him and thank him for all our blessings.

You'd take a shower before you met your blind date, therefore, why wouldn't you take a shower before visiting God at church on Sunday?
