i am not black but i call my fiance' boo boos or babe. its cute. especially when he calls me the same names back.

Pet names usually come up from an experience you shared, from a characteristic he has, or from an interest of his. For example, the guy im seeing calls me miss ally b/c im sort of prissy, really girly. We also have names for each other from a movie that applied to our scenario. Dont try to force a name; it will come if it was meant to be.
