if you have installed xp without a format xp will have detected me and created a duel boot system so you get a choice of me or xp if this has happened you can't delete me without screwing up you system completely.
the only way is to format and reinstall xp

If you chose upgrade to XP during the install, ME will be wiped in the process.

easiest way is to overwrite the old version with the new version. do a full install not just an upgrade.

You can go to control panel and click in the option that says add or remove programs.Just look for that one program and click Delete.I do it that way, it works so far.Bye.
