She's a wonderful person, very nice, intelligent, and pretty. But he is concerned about possible cultural barriers. He's also afraid that he wont meet up to her standards. Are these valid concerns to consider before persuing or should they just stay friends? Is ther anything else he should consider before asking her?

Cultural barriers between Jews and Europeans are almost non-existent. Tell him to go for it.

When my mother was in college, she fell in love with a Jewish man, and they went thru hell between his family, and her presbyterian family. Eventually, they were given the go-ahead, but before their marriage, he ended up in the service and was sent to Korea and was killed in that war. She never got over that. Obviously, she did get married, and divorced, and married and divorced, etc., but I think she basically spent her entire life mourning him and she never loved any other man as she had loved him. So obviously, I'm going say if they're in love, go for it. Sure, they'll be adjustments, but every marriage has adjustments. If they love each other, they'll deal with it.

Go ahead! It amazes me how ignorant people are on Judaism. They are people just like us, and they don't have horns. Trust me I've dated a Jewish girl before!

If your friend loves this girl then he should go for it. True they'll have religion barriers but they can work them out together.

Col 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, [do] all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

I don't see any particular reason why her standards would be unreasonably high just because she's Jewish.

If he really loves the girl.. go for it... but if he values his religion too, or let's say his parents, always think of this "there's a lot of good fish in the sea"... eventually, he can recover...
