umm well helen i think once a day is good. youre supposed to wash every other day but thats gross!

I think everyone should shower every day no matter what age. I am a teacher and I know most kids only shower every other day but that should change. Imagine being in a crowded classroom with children who don't smell fresh for 7 hours a day.
There are 7 days in a week and even 11 year olds should shower each day.

when i was little, i did every other day showers up to about 9 or 10, so I would say by 11 they should be taking showers everyday, cause believe me, they get stinky.

At the LEAST 5. an eleven year old is going through changes of puberty and they need to shower and take care of themselves regularly. 11 is plenty old enough age to start that responsibility
