my friend says it can be cured, appaentlY its some sexualy transmitted desise...but i've never heard of one that can be cured. also what are its symptoms?

yes it can be completely cured with antibiotics if caught in the first 2 stages. In the third stage sometimes there are residual symptoms that never go away. The third stage occurs many years and often decades after the initial exposure.

There are several STD's that can be cured with antibiotics but Sphyllis is not one of them.
Perhaps it can be managed but it can't be cured and I have taken care of many elderly patients in the nursing home who had it and though it's not as ugly as some other diseases,it is still not a pretty sight.
To be perfectly honest with you I don't know what the symptoms are but I do know that towards the end,it will blind you.

only can be vaccinated not cured
