According to Ayurveda, which is a system of mind/body medicine having it's roots in India, there are a number of things you can do to increase the strength of your digestion and health of your body. I practice them, and I lost weight. There's more to it than I'll get in to here, but try this to start:
1. Breakfast, contrary to what you've heard, is not the most important meal of the day.But eat a light breakfast if you must.
2. The body's digestion is strongest in the MIDDLE of the day. Usually this is between 12-2 p.m Eat a warm cooked meal. Try to eat your largest meal at this time. This is by far the thing that made the biggest difference for me and my weight loss.
3. Sit down to eat, and focus on your meal-the taste, smell, etc. Try to do this without watching TV, reading, or doing anything that divides the mind and body. Take at least twenty minutes to eat.
4. In general, the later you eat, the lighter you eat. Try to have your last meal at least three hours before going to bed.
5. Sip warm or hot water throughout the day, to clear any "false hunger" signals that your body may be sending. According to Ayurveda, ice cold water dampens the body's digestive power.
6. Try to get to sleep before 10pm, which is nature's "slowing down"time. After ten, it shifts and you may get a second wind, and have trouble falling asleep. This is when many people reach for more snacks.

Interval training. Get yourself an exercise bike. Every morning before you eat, set aside at least 20 minutes. Ride flat out for 8 seconds and rest for 12 seconds, repeat this for the full 20 minutes. This has been proven to work even without a healthy diet.

exercise more and eat less. Its simple. Try to run everyday, or even just dance real hard to some music that you like. Try to only eat fruits and vegetables for 2 weeks( raw veggies only with no dressing). I lost close to 17 lbs like that.

It's simple math.....take in fewer calories than you burn off and you'll lose weight... this means either eat less, exercise more, or if you want to lose it "fast", then eat less and exercise more at the same time !!!!
