He doesn't sound worth changing for, if you do this for him you will always be losing your self respect for who you really are. Be true to yourself and someone will love you for who you are. Get in there first and break up with him! You deserve better and one day someone will be with you for your interests and the way you are. Don't try to make him jealous, its just a self-destructing and pointless task. Never lose sight of who you really are.
