(1)become emancipated
(2)if she kicks you out... it is legal because you can't be classified as a run away.

Mo.....slow down! You're ELEVEN!!! Hate is a strong word. Just because you and your mom don't see eye to eye doesn't mean hate is in the picture. You think you're goth? yet spiritual? How so? I've seen goth. Goth isn't a playtoy, it's a way of life. Don't confuse a phase with a lifestyle. And don't be putting tags on your mom because she doesn't agree with you. She's against everything you stand for....so what do you stand for?? I mean, really. Think about it. WHAT DO YOU STAND FOR?? Cuz using the word hate at age eleven is a little much. You haven't even begun to live yet, so how would you know what it really means? I see hate in rapists and murderers, child molesters and abductors...get the picture? And why do you get along better with your dad? Is it because he gives you what you want? Think about it. Unless your mom is pyscho, she probably just sees where your path can lead you and wants better for you than you do yourself. Ever think about just talking to her?? Calmly?? With no demands? Here's another idea....LISTEN to what she has to say with no attitude! You just might learn something!!!

You should consider moving with your father... you are very young and sound very intelligent and mature, but if what you say is true and you do not have any other relatives near the area, you need to move and be in a better and healthier environment. If you do have relatives near by you might want to consider talking to them about adopting you and the benefits it will bring you.

It is not that bad to move to a new place. I moved out to my own apartment when I was 16 and moved out of state when I was 18. Not because I was a rebel or a bad person, but because of the existing drama in the house related to my problematic younger brother.

Good Luck...

If you are able to file for emancipation who will you live with in your home town so you can stay in the school you are at? How will you support yourself?

It sounds like your only choice is to live with your mom or move out of state with you dad unless there is another relative that you can live with.

Baby girl, I know this probably what you want to hear BUT...

You're only 11 at that age I was constantly fighting with my mom, it's something everyone goes through that. and I know you're thinking yeah right whatever, but I'm only 21 and felt the same way at that age and thought the same thing when someone told me that . It will get better I promise I had a mom that shouldnt have been a mom and I made it, you'll be ok hun, I promise..

C'mon, your eleven and officialy like almost every other kid and their parents. There's always going to be a lack of communication between kids and parents, it seems they just aren't compatible to form healthy relationships. WHat I'm sayin is you may hate your mother today, but when you get older you'll be able to tolerate her. Until then, turn on your music and zone out of your crappy situation, or whatever you "goths" do.

Who has legal custody? Nothing much you can do unless you have agreement with whoever has legal custody.
