He's friggin' chisled. That must take years. I assume he must eat healthy, but what else would you have to do, like hours a day of exercise for years?

A good healthy diet plan, weight training and daily cardio will do the job. If you have a personal trainer at least 2 times a week and train about 5 times a week you could probably get there in 6 months if you have a fairly normal built now and already do some excercise.

If you worked out hard everyday for a year you would be ripped. Brad Pitt has lean muscle, this is acquired by doing cardio exercises as well as lifting weights. Core exercises are also used to tighten the abdominal and oblique muscles. Eating right is a key ingredient as well. Anyone can become a rock-solid machine, you just need to work out everyday.

I don't think it takes years to get that way, but rather hours each day for several weeks/months. You'd have to keep going past the point of pain to "rip" and let your muscles repair and get bigger and do it again. Creatine and taurine may help too. If he was already somewhat muscular then it would be easier and faster to get to that point, as he was already almost there.

All the crunches in the world won't reveal your hard-won abs if there's a layer of fat over them. Incorporate cardio into your workout, and consider a diuretic to draw additional fluids.

Lots of hard work I s'pose. But I guess these days he can afford a personal trainer, decent diet and the ultimate gym.
