Almost everyone I'm surrounded by now are Christian conservatives. They support the war, no matter that we can't take care of the vets. They don't care anything about the environment b/c the world is coming to an end so why bother. There is a verse in the Bible that states we are supposed to be good stewards of the earth. They laugh at me when I say I want to help others through my writting. They want Christians to start having lots of babies b/c we have to catch up w/ the Muslims. I believe in adoption and they just look at me like I'm stupid. I'm not sending this out in anger...I just want to know. And I'm not saying all conservatives are like this. Just the ones I know. Today my friend looked at the front page of the newpaper and it was about the green house effecct and things we can do to try to slow it down. He just laughed and said the ideas were ridiculous. I just don't get it? Do you want the world to come to an end faster than it is already? Please no hate replies.

This is absolutely no hate. All the problems you speak of can be handled, if and when people see the real problem and do something about it. OVER-POPULATION.

First, I'd like to ask Erica R a question. You say it's up to God when we have Children. Sexual intercourse is very enjoyable. If people didn't use condoms, then there would be alot of unwanted children. I believe God created sex as a pleasurable experience. Not just to produce children. And please tell me, how would God tell us when were supposed to have children? Ok, I used someone elses question. Sorry. Well, I've met Christians that seem to be happy that the world will end soon. And if it doesn't, then that will prove the Bible is wrong (the whole "Last Days" perdictions) If we save the planet for a few more hundred or thousand years; I guess their Jesus won't have a reason to come back. But if we destroy the planet, start the Big War (isn't Armegedon susposed to be started by someone, in a turban, from the East? Blame the Hindus. Or maybe the Muslims.) then this will prove that their Bible was right. And they do need proof, that the non-belivers can see also.

I am so confused. I have long believed I was a conservative, fundamentalist Christian. But the more I read about this sort of thing the more I question that, or the more I wonder what right they have to use that eponym.
I am conservative, that is I believe it is better to take many things into consideration to avoid acting in a way that is damaging. This is a political stance as well as a personal stance. I do believe we are supposed to take good care of this lovely planet God created for us. We are to be good stewards. So I practice, recycling, conservation methods, walking kindly on the earth.
I know that God intends to recreate heaven and earth, and it will be beyond our wildest imaginations... but that does not negate the responsibility we have for what He has given us now.
Having lots of babies to catch up to the Muslims? Just shaking my head at that one.
I am going to stick with saying I am a conservative, fundamental Christian... just that maybe I am not like some.

We cant take great care of vets because the govt doesnt handle business well. When are we ever going to learn that? But what does that have to do with the war?

Untrue, many believers do care about the environment, I know I do.

I think it is better to have your own children but why would anybody look down on you for that?

The problem with the "manmade global warming" is that it is just a theory and not a very good one. The earth goes through natural cooling and warming cycles and some believe we are in a warm cycle. (even though this is the 32nd coolest temps in 114 years) People that believe in manmade global warming dont take into account all the evidence, just that which supports their conclusions. They are poitcally motivated and driven by liberalism and only care about snatching votes from the gullible and people who think they care about the environment.

BTW, if Al Gore cares so much about global warming, why hasnt he become an example to us all by giving up his private jet, his massive energy sucking house, his fancy vehicles, and meat? (livestock produces more gases then cars)

Global warming Im afraid is just a politically driven myth in order to scare people into voting for more liberals and paying higher taxes and making govt bigger.

Support the war....
....I consider it a must to wage war against those who have waged war against us. The terrorists have made it clean they are on a Jihad against every Jew, Christian, and American.

Ignore the environment....
God made this solar system, and He keeps it going. There is nothing that He can't do when it comes to the universe that He created. I don't blame those who are skeptical about global warming. The evidence does not show a rise in temperature of more than (.6 degrees) per 100 years. Some of the people at the forefront of this global warming issue is Al Gore who produces more greenhouse gases, and then buys green credits from a company he co-owns.
We went through the same warming trends in the 17th century and we had not yet invented anything that created greenhouse gases.

A race to out-populate the Muslims....
Christians are about 2.14 billion, Muslims are about 1.2 billion.
We already have more Christians worldwide than Muslims.
The problem, if there is one, is we are not killing Muslims for religious reasons, but Muslims are killing Christians for religious reasons.

Nobody on this forum want to agree, but Muslims want Sharia law in every nation on the earth and are ready to kill as many as possible to accomplish that. In Detroit Michigan the Muslim community is trying to force the local government to accept Sharia law.

I admit that all Muslims are not violent, but violent factions have been driving Muslim atrocities since the seventh century.

Ok, I hope I get everything in here!

A)There is a time for war, the bible says so, that is why we support it. We support our gov. because we believe God put them there for a reason...

B)I do care about the enviornment, obviously I am not going to purposly throw garbage on the ground. But I do understand God doesnt want us spending our time worrying about it more then giving the gospel. It shouldnt be our lifes work to care for the earth.

C) We arnt trying to catch up to muslims in the baby department. I am baptist, and we do not believe in birth control because it is ultimatly up to God when we have children, not ourselves.

D) I believe adoption is a wonderful thing. I dont know who on earth wouldnt think it was?

E) I believe that global warming is propaganda and malarky, it isnt real. The earth goes through stages, and the warming is only a stage it must go through.

F) The earth is not going to come to an end because of us polluting, war, to many people, ect. Jesus is ending it. People afraid of a nuclear war that is going to blow up the earth are silly. It doesnt worry me. I know how it is ending, Jesus is coming back!

Hope that helps!

nicely i do agree along with her on the Christians marrying in basic terms christians. quite it does not shrink something, it makes the sphere very virtually extra undemanding to narrow down in case you marry somebody which you comprehend has the comparable ideals and targets and hopes as you. Will shop so plenty extra peace in the kinfolk if the two factors are engaged on the comparable web site. And we are in a position to certainly have love happiness and peace in our lives, unquestionably! And if we are living in a fashion that we ourselves sense are appealing to God, it makes it that fairly extra effectual. it is no longer approximately searching for any sort of approval, humility replaced right into a high quality of Jesus we could consistently all attempt to comprise on some point, and that i think sorting out solutions to significant concerns are ok. Taking a stand for what you have self assurance in is a capability, no longer a weak spot. i think that God facilitates us to relish and love issues much extra based on the loose will, information and advent and need for the destiny he grants for us.

God created the world for man, and God will provide.

When God feels that enough new souls have been created, or that there is no further point in allowing things on the earth to go on, he'll personally return and put an end to it.

As for all the other stuff about green house gasses and overpopulation, you have your opinion, and I have mine.

With God, all things are possible.

With man, look out!

Christians are not foolish, we are wise in the things of God.

Here are a few scriptures and I don't even know if they will help. I sure hope so. One of the reason some pick what they like is in Galation 5:19-26. He told us we would know them by this. Try to learn this so you will know for future references.
Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Psa 37:7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
Luk 21:23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
2Ti 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2Ti 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
2Ti 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
2Ti 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
2Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
