I want to make a fruit smoothie with the following ingredients, but I don't know how much of this and that I should use for one person.....I have apples, peaches, kiwi, strawberries, bananas, all-natural strawberry or blueberry yogurt, orange juice, and milk. I would rather not add sugar and my fruits are all fresh. Any recipe or advice would be great!!

leave out the apples. either use oj (not milk), because you already have yogurt in there and it would get too creamy. also remember, too many fruits can be too much and you won't be able to taste individual flavors. i say do, for example, orange juice, strawberries, peaches, bananas, and plain yogurt (frozen yogurt if you have it)...don't forget to add ice! it will make it nice and thick.

For the amount of ingredients you want to include, you are going to have to have leftovers. I agree with the other person who says leave out the apples.. I suggest a little bit of apple juice as your liquid. Also, if you use bananas, remember that bananas actually have a very strong flavor compared to the rest, so do not by any means use anymore than 1! I wouldn't suggest adding milk if you are adding yogurt..

All of that said.. maybe you should try this:
1 peach, 1 kiwi, 4 large strawberries or 6 or 7 small strawberries, 1 small banana, 1 container of yogurt, a splash of orange juice, a splash of apple juice (you may want to leave out as it will probably be overpowered by the other flavors, the orange juice will help preserve the other fruits).. add a half of a cup of ice if desired and blend. You will have a few tall glasses of smoothie, which is like I said inevitable with the amount of ingredients you have/want. You can either share with a friend or refrigerate or freeze the rest for later.

Apples and Kiwi probably aren't the best for smoothies-they don't blend well(break-down). Peaches may turn out alright-if your using a regular blender you will need to take off the skin probably. The best things are strawberries, bananas and yogurt-the juice if you like it sweet, the milk if you like it creamy. But you are going to need something frozen if one of the ingredients is then your good otherwise add ice cubes it makes it less creamy. You need something frozen though for the right consistency. Sounds good!

I don't follow any certain recipe I just add whatever. With those, I would add put in mostly strawberries, a little peaches and kiwi, a whole banana, strawberry yogurt, little orange juice and more milk. Just eyeball it, how big is the blender, how much do you want to make, and so forth.

My best advice would be to leave out the apples and then experiment with the rest. Sounds like most of it will blend together very nicely. Best thing you can do is start VERY slowly with the juice or milk. A little liquid goes a long way in a smoothie....g'luck and have fun!!

if you don't have to use all of the ingredients, heere's my favorite: strawberries, ice, banana, yogurt. &if you want the oj taste, than you can put in oj, but i preferably like apple juice.
it's hard to decide how much for just one person... but i would start with like, half of a banana, a few strawberries, a few spoons of yogurt, and then fill the blender up with apple juice 2/3 of the way to the top of the TOP OF YOUR INGREDIENTS. hope you like it!!! it's my personal favorite :D
