Let things take it's course. If he doesn't want to be with you any longer then all the good times are in the past. There's nothing worse than clinging to what was, loving the memories and hating the present, but wishing for more. You're better than that. Keep your dignity, hold your head up, and never let him see you sweat. If it's meant to be and everyone is wrong about him wanting to break up, then there's no problem. But if he does, then so be it. Someone better will come along as soon as you're ready. Trust me.

well we wouldn't know because you didn't include much information. If the information was coming from liable sources(like his friends, or him, not just random people) then I would dump him first to avoid being made a fool of. It's probably not what you want to hear, but that's what I'd do.
You may be thinking "No, i's probably just a rumor!" but think about it; he HAS to have said it at one point for the rumor to get out. A similar thing has hapened to me last year, and all I can say - get out as fast as you can, and see other people.
~that's what I have to say about that~

Well, if your boyfriend doesn't want to talk to you then something is definetaly wrong! It is either because of a misunderstanding or maybe he does want to break up. Talk to him and ask what is wrong with him. If he doesn't answer, then you leave him because that means he is too wimpy to dump you or in the future he might have mood swings or weird attitudes that he won't want you to get involved with (which shouldn't be the case in strong relationships).

Face up to it with dignity and grace. It might be hard to believe at this point, but there are other guys (lots of other guys) out there. It's just hard when you've had an emotional investment in someone, but you'll find someone again. I promise you that.

Sit back and wait. When people tell you he is going to break up with you tell them "Que Sera, Sera Whatever will be will be." There is no real action for you to take. Don't chase after him. There are plenty of other guys if he wants to leave.

Go up to him and ask him, I heard you are going to break up with me, is it true? If he says ,Yes, Then you saved yourself the wonder. Then focus on the things you like to do with your self, there is no rush when a relationship is involved!

take it in stride. If he won't talk to you and won't give a reason why then maybe you're better off without him.
Look at it this way, if he does tell you he's breaking up with you, tell him, "Thank goodness! Now i can find someone that appreciates me and what I have to give."

well i always tell all my friends this - take him somewhere a little private - maybe either one of your houses, have a nice casual dinner or something, and then talk - talk about EVERYTHING thats bugging you and let him now you're either ready/not ready to give him up and you want to try.
then let HIM explain - don't just leave without hearing his side of the story
*good luck!*
