I beleive in parental rules however hair is personal and not something worth picking a battle over. Id rather you experimented with your hair now then say when your 18 and looking for a job and no one wants to hire you because your hair is so weird. The best time to go thru that stage is when your a kid.
Why dont you try making some kind of deal with them. If they let you have your hair how you want you will agree to something like always getting your homework done on time. Something that shows maturity.

No, it's not wrong and you are not spoiled for not wanting to get one. Most boys hate getting a haircut at first because they have gotten used to looking a certain way and don't want the change. Try to meet your parents half way. Let them cut a little and see how you like it. Try to work with your parents on this.

If a parent *request* their child for a haircut, nothing wrong.
If a parent *force* their child for a haircut, something not quite right.
When a parent *request*, they're taking the feelings of their child into concern and consideration. And that is a loving kind act of a parent.
But when a parent *force* their will on to their child, they act selfishly and dorminantly. The parent has then ignored the child's feelings and desires. This is not a loving and kind act.

Excuse me but are you saying that my parents forced you to get a haircut and that they are mad at you?
LOL
And it is wrong wrong wrong for parents to unjustly smite thy golden locks from thy head, for it is writen, he without hairs will not inherit the kingdom of Neptune.

If you are under 18 and living in their household, you must follow their rules; regardless of how silly or dumb they may seem to you. I personally would not make my children cut their hair as long as they keep it clean and well groomed. I pick my battles wisely, and hair is not one of them. Try to talk to your parents and see if they will change their minds. You could be doing a heck of a great deal worse things than growing long hair. Good luck and God bless****

At 1 Corinthians 11:14 it says: Does not nature itself teach YOU that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him. You can have hair, but it shouldn't be long, but still it's your choice.

no..they are your parents and they own you until you are 18....
BUT you can play the reverse psychology game and say "hey mom/dad/both, i WANT to cut my hair because i hate it (not because they want you too) and i love you guys and i want to be a loving son/daughter until im 18 then i will move and turn out to be a waste of a person"
they will be like "oh **** u better not cut that hair son/daughter. we dont want u to be a waste"
it works!

You will have a lifetime of making your own decisions once you are an adult and on your won. No, I think your parents are right. Sorry. Yes, you probably are a little spoiled. It is not completely your fault. Most of your age group are spoiled.
