To avoid scaring stay out of the sun or wear a hat.
Pardon me but your boyfriend does not care if you have a spot on your face. To him you are beautiful no matter what. Have some self-esteem; your quality is that you’re a person and not how you look. Now look in the mirror and tell your self you are a beautiful person.

Application of liquid Vitamin E helps heal burns and scars faster.
PS - Everyone gets wounds and blemishes. Your boyfriend, unless he's very shallow, won't care about such a thing.

Emu oil. They use this in burn units to heal & prevent and/or reduce scarring of wounds and burns. Vitamin E helps too and can be mixed in with the Emu oil for added benefit.

you can buy this creme called Mederma....
its considered to be the best for scars on your skin...any type of scars. it eliminates the discoloration and you can apply it as many times as you want. it really works, you should try it...
i had a scar after one operation i had on my stomach and the creme minimized the scar a lot...
its a little expensive, but if you order it online you will find it in a better price.
good luck!

I get that too.. i use vaseline with vitamin E to help moisturize my skin(my dermatologist says that vaseline will not clog pores.. i know hard to believe). Keep using a small amt of vaseline and it will eventually try to flake off, and exfoliate the area with a facial cleanser.

The healing process for burnt skin takes time. If you try to rush it you may aggravate the problem. See a chemist (druggist).

my sister went through the same thing. only, it was from a straightening iron.
she just left it alone, and it was gone in about 3 days.
