A friend of mine suggested that I should tell the guy that I really like the truth, and also if he feels the same way. I was too nervous, so my friend told him for me. She found out that the response was No. I was quite upset, but I still like him. The next day, he is acting COMPLETELY normal. He didn't mention anything about it, he didn't give me any weird looks. He acted as he did before. The thing is, is that he's talking to me more often, and he's getting closer as usual. He's also often staring at me. That leaves me confused. What do you think?

ugh. very confusing. you really shouldnt have had your friend ask him that.
i think the whole "do you like me?" scenario is very immature and doesnt make any sense!
i mean, whats the chance that some random guy you seem to like is gonna like you back?
what you shouldve done was start talking to him more and getting to know him.
you wouldve gotten the vibe from him and been able to judge how he felt about you.
he was being extremely mature about the whole thing by not acting wierd.
i really cant make the judgement whether he likes you or not, but i think you should follow my advice and get to know him better,

How many, the frequency with which and whom you've slept with is a personal issue. If you choose to tell a girl you're dating any of these things, you'd better be damned sure of her self esteem and levelheadedness before doing so. Most women are extremely jealous(regardless of what they may tell you!) and opinionated; they are likely to think you're either a 'player' or just indiscriminate in your sexual habits and take a pass on you without listening to another word. You'd be amazed at how many people do NO research and just believe what they hear about everything...

Just because he's doing those things doesn't mean he likes you. Be careful. He said no, so no means no. Don't confuse youself when you know that he doesn't like you cause it could end up something bad happening and someone's heart getting broken...

I think if he had stared at you before he found out about you having a crush on him then maybe he would have feelings for you. He is probably just flattered and thats why he is looking and you and he talks to you because he doesn't want to hurt your feelings. He seems like a nice guy, so who knows maybe he will eventually start to have feelings for you if he gets to know you better.

I've been through the same situation!! I want to warn you that you should be careful to not let that guy flatter you with his actions because that will make you like him even more, and the more you like him the less he will like you back!! Maybe he likes you but he doesn't want to admit it!! Maybe he didn't feel comfortable talking to your friend about it!

Oh my gosh I'm in the SAME situation! I like this one guy and he was giving all the signs that he liked me but it ended up he didnt like me like that but I didnt ask him his sister told me that. I never even told him how I felt but he found out. I was so crushed but then I decided to play hard to get and started talking with another guy right in front of him every day and now he is saying hey to me and he wants me to talk to him and stuff and he keeps trying to get closer so yeah, just show him how much you really want him and things will hopefully work out. omg am i glad i don't have to deal with this dating stuff anymore! I am happily married. But boys will be boys! they never know what they want or how to show their feelings, so we have to keep guessing. so my advice to you, is to take things slow, don't go in with your size 9s just one day at a time, let him think your always busy and that you will make time for him if you can, fit him into your day. playing him about like he does you. Don't scare him away, just slow and small steps. You will know when the time is right to say how you feel towards him. But you have to be strong and don't go all mushy on him OK. Be Strong you can do this! good luck

he's considering you, but why would you want someone who didn't like you right away? why must he think about it?
if anything he will just try and ONS you, so don't give him the time of day.

He might have lied to your friend because he is shy about it. If he is getting closer to you and stares at you a lot then that might mean that he does like you. Just give it some time.

holy crapoli lol the same exact thing happened to me! every detail! he tlks 2 me more nd stuff and its weird cause he never metioned how my friend asked him if he liked me. hes being very nice 2 me 2. its reali weird. i juss go with the flow and soon....maybe he will like u and the guy i like will like me :D wouldnt tht be somethin lol
