Since you are posting your question in the Immigration section of Yahoo Answers I think everyone here is going to assume that you are speaking of illegal aliens, if you want to know if we like hispanic cultures and music and dance maybe you should pose your question in the entertainment section of Yahoo Answers or the culture section (if they have one).... The fact that you have choosen to post your question (well statement) in the immigration section tells one of two things.
1. You would like to make a point of whoever these ignorant people you are talking about who are racist against hispanic culture and give it more of a spot light. Once again take it to the proper forum, this forum is for the topic of immigration and all the topics that go with it including illegal aliens and the unlawful use of taxpayers money on PEOPLE that are inside the US illegally.
2. You know exactly what you are doing and would like to throw a rock into a bees nest and see how many bees come at you, which is your right but prepare to get stung a few times (or a few hundred times)

I've been wondering this too...although I don't think that people think that all Hispanics are a problem (at least I hope not). I've seen so many racist and prejudicial comments on these message boards and I truly don't understand some of them. Some people say that all Mexicans and Hispanics are lazy and abuse the system, which is ridiculous. I guess it's just as you say...some people are really really ignorant.

First of all, sir, if you are going to continue to ask these absurd questions, please learn our language so we may fully understand the question you are asking. And, no, that was not a racist comment, but I am sure you wouldn't exactly be all that thrilled if I went to the country you are from and started berating your citizens in broken Spanish.

Secondly, yes, some people are racist and stereotype all people of a race by the acts of a few. But, not all of us do that. In fact, a great majority of the people in America DON'T do that. However, based on statistics, illegal immigrants in this country make up for 35% of the crimes committed in the southern United States (and those are illegal crimes they commit BESIDES the coming into our country illegally).

All these arguments have been about illegal aliens.
The only reason we have been saying things about Mexico is because 90% of the illegals are from there or enter through there. Their government actually encourages them.

I watch "Robin" in the morning on Headline news. I would hate to know she was an illegal. I might actually miss her.

They are way too many people way to poor to pay enough taxes to begin to touch the cost of their children's education, much less the cost of other services they and their families use.
