I've studied paranormal activity for a long time (not in the field, more of an armchair interest). I would stay away from the priests. The christian/catholic "exorcisms" seem to only elevate the problem temporarily, and often when the activity does return, it's much worse. A better idea would be to find someone who's experienced with helping beings "cross over" to the other side. That seems to work better in the long run. However, if it's a poltergeist that might not work either. Try calling a paranormal investigator. They might not be able to solve the problem, but they can explore it further and possibly hook you up with someone they've had good luck with. Best of luck to you. In the meantime, Don't use a Oujia board. Also, if you ask out loud for the activity to stop, that sometimes works temporarily.

I grew up in a haunted house. Whenever the lights were turned off it would sound like every piece of furniture we had was being pushed back and forth. Anyone that reads this is
entitled to their own opinion but, I lived there for 13 years and
everyone in the family heard it every night the very same way
I did. That's 8 witnesses. Mom had a lady come and try to talk
with whatever was doing this. I'll put my hand on a Bible and swear to you that this lady walked up onto the porch only to
start sinking into it through the boards! It took all 9 of us to pull
her out! I totally expected her to run but she calmly said, " It
was going to take more than that to scare her. " She then went in through the back door. That was when everything in that house started shaking, she asked for a name and in
blood red the name Thomas was written on the ceiling. After that she fell to the floor and was out for 3 minutes. When we asked if she was alright she stood up and in a man's voice ordered us all out. Half of the family left and the other half me
included refused to go. I told her that I wasn't going anywhere no matter what sounds, noises, or wall writings was done. Again she collapsed and came around about 10 min. later. She told us that we had the ghost of a Timothy Ellis who lived
in the house where ours now stood and he wasn't going anywhere. After researching that name we found out that he had committed suicide back on 11-26-1942. The report also said that he had hung himself in that room which was where
my brother's bedroom is. We never did find out why though.
I would suggest you have a person who can talk to whatever is there. If that doesn't work try putting a Bible in every room.
When you get those weird feelings I would just tell them they might as well leave because you won't.
Best of Luck

Let me first say, I do not believe in ghosts or the like. The best advice i can give to you is to try and make friends with the "ghosts" that are haunting your house. Or you can call those ghost investigators on the Sci-fi channel. I think it's your imagination though. Dog's bark at anything that moves, even flies. Children often come into their parents room because of nightmares or the like. Maybe there was a flicker of light from outside that made the dog bark. I don't know. However, I do know that ghosts don't exist, and psychics are fakes...

What people think of as "haunted" is actually demonic activity. Demons, which are hell's equvilency of heaven's angels, can live, breath, talk and walk just like you and I. You seem like you KNOW it is there. And it is not good if your child is seeing them because that can and will be very traumatizing to her. I have seen demons, I have heard them and I have felt them, and the very thought of their presence makes me squirm. They carry the very evil of hell with them, think of the worst sin you can imagine- something horrible done to a child maybe- and they carry that with them and that is the "icky" thing you feel. If you are serious about getting rid of them- you need to first establish a relationship with Jesus Christ. God is the only thing or person with authority over these spirits and when you become "born again" you recieve that very same authority because you literally recieve the spirit of God (Holy Spirit) inside of you. This is all 100% biblical and if you do not know how much of the Bible you believe, I pray you start looking into it a little more. Because you have to admit that if these demons are real, then God must be too. I will praying for you, seriously, and I also would like it if you could check out geocities.com/wivesandwarriors

My mom likes to watch shows like that. There are some t.v shows, where some famous ghost guys come and tell you for sure if your house is haunted. I think there's a show called "Ghoust Hunters" or something like that. If they say your house is really haunted (they do some research on the house and junk...), then you can freak out. But in the meantime, just try to stay calm and don't change mutch around. If it really is haunted, the ghosts won't like that, like in the sims2, if you delete a currently deads sim's bed, they'll throw a fit a scare people. If you keep it, they'll cheer, rome around, and head back to their tomb stone.

First, you need to tell the entity that they have passed on, and that this is YOUR home now. Then you ask that the spirit leave your home (With a deep sense of faith and an authoritive voice) Say this exactly.......... "In the name of The Lord Jesus Christ, Leave my home and my family in peace." If this does not work, try again (with even more faith) THEN, if it STILL doesn't work, call your local Priest, Reverand, or Minister to Bless the house, and/or exorcise the entity from your home. Good Luck and God Bless you and your family.

Wow! Maybe your daughter has been up late watching scary movies while you and your hubby were sleeping...but then again that doesn't explain the cold air, and the dog barking at the wall. You should call your pastor or priest and have him pray over your house....i've seen too many scary movies on this, i don't wanna believe that it really happens.

My house is haunted too. I grew up in a haunted house as a child which seems to make me more sensitive to ghosts. If there's one anywhere around I will be the first to see it. I've lived in my house for a little over a yr now. I could feel the presence of a man. I have twins who were 2 at the time who he also used to scare. I was afraid for them at first because there was several times when I would wake to them crying or running into my room saying that there was a man there. Several times I even came in and found the boys (then 2) with their mattress straight up against the window (I know, I was creeped out too).
Since I grew up as a child with the same experience I knew what not to do. I used to also tell my mother but she never believed me. That was the worst feeling in the world, it made me feel even more alone and scared. So I told my boys to tell the man when he came to try to scare them "to go away and leave me alone". Several times I woke to here them saying that and evently no more tiers. They no longer cry or get scared from "the man in the room" but they still don't like to walk in rooms when they are dark. He's played tricks on me too. Like coming home to the tv being on static, I'd turn it off and it would turn right back on. The first month I moved in, almost every light bulb blew out in my house. One day said out loud to my ghost to please stop because it was getting expensive. It hasn't happened since. I still have the feeling that he's watching me alot but I think he's comfortable with me here, just as much as I am with him.
I would suggest to never get a priest. This could make the situation a lot worse by angering them! I'd tried it once with a previous apartment. We moved out! Just be forceful but respectful if they are doing something that you don't like. Remember, they were here before you and will probably be there after you. They have just as much right to be there but you need to let them know that you are not scared of them and stand your ground if it's something that you don't like. Just like dealing with normal people.
My best of wishes to you and your family. My best advise, stay strong and stand your ground.

I would contact the Ghost Hunters (TAPS) on the SciFi Channel. They try to debunk hauntings, but they will offer serious solutions if they feel you really do have a haunting. But even before that, I would pray the protection of Jesus Christ over my home and I would ask for others to come over and agree to pray in every room of the home.

I dont know who you could call but you could research these type of happenings and see what others have exp and how they handled it--i think its all part of what one believes as well-if you believe in spirits etc then you are going to let this bother you and affect you, if you dont then you just pay no attention to it -ignore it and thats it..im not saying i dont believe you -i will say that alot of times our minds play tricks on us and once the cycle starts you will be looking for these things weather you are aware you are or not...if you think ts evil spirits-----------just put alot of crosses around!!!
