If you are an atheist..have you ever considered the fact that you have never been to all parts of the universe and found that there was no God or anyone named Jesus ? You cant say youre certain until you have checked all places. We don't need to look becoz He has come to us. But, you need to go to all galaxies everywhere and see first before you can say there is " no God ". How small and limited for you to not search first before you conclude.

First of all, there are probably several hundred people at least named Jesus here in San Antonio. No atheist here would even think of saying there isnt anyone named Jesus. Second, I thought God was spirit and thus not a physical body, other than when Jesus was incarnate on the earth. (By the way incarnate means in the flesh)

We do not have to go anywhere. The burden of proof is on you. If I say there is no Easter bunny, do I have to look all over the universe first?

Sorry, but you don't need to look at the whole universe to not believe in any gods.

Nothing is known in an absolute sense. Everything is possible. There could be a pink fairy on Alpha Centauri who's getting ready to turn you into a wart. Do you worry about that? Of course not. I don't worry about any gods existing for the same reason.

The most we can do, for anything we believe, is to look at the evidence and weigh it against any claims made. There is tons of evidence that gods are man-made. You only have to look into the history of each religion to see that they are loosely based off earlier myths and superstitions. You can also look into human nature to see our tendency to make such things up. However, nowhere will you see any real evidence of any gods.

So, while you're right that there is a possibility that a god, however defined, exists, it's not enough of a possibility to give it much weight.

Uri Gagarin, or however you wanna spell his name, went into space, and when he returned, people asked him, You were in space, did you meet God? And he said, I circled the earth, but I didn't meet God, therefore he doesn't exist.
I was watching on CNN a few days ago how they found the tomb and bones of Jesus. And they said, this might destroy Christian faith, because if there are bones of Jesus, that would mean that he didn't bodily ascend to heaven. And me, I can tell you for sure, with 100% certainty, he did not bodily ascend to heaven; his spirit might have ascended, but not his body. Otherwise everytime you got on a plane, you'd be seeing people sitting on clouds.

It doesn't matter where I've been and where I've not been. If the concept of a god is logically impossible, there's no need to search. There's no need to peer under every rock and peek around every corner. Something impossible will never be found because it does not exist to be located.

Ok let's go with your argument here.. have you ever considered that your god isn't the only one true god and that just because a bunch of bronze age men wrote down some stuff they allegedly heard from god that it might just not be true?
Have you ever thought that perhaps god is much bigger than the box your bible puts her in?

You can say the same thing about the tooth fairy, Santa Claus, and unicorns. Because we haven't checked everywhere in the universe, we must believe that they exist right?

They just must live in parts we haven't looked at of course.

The Bible's God is supposedly everywhere. Since we can't find him here, why should we look anywhere else?

Yes. I've also considered that I haven't ruled out the Flying Spaghetti Monster or the Invisible Pink Unicorn...but let's not be ridiculous. There is no evidence of any gods. Until someone presents some, I'm not believing in imaginary friends and fairy tales.

Have you searched EVERYWHERE in the universe for a flying purple polystyrene gorilla? If you haven't, then you should conclude that one might exist, or you are being equally small minded.

And, how small and limited is your mind to blindly accept wisdom of cave dwelling goat herders as literal truths. And, I suppose you checked in to every other religion in existence that claims that it is the only truth as well, right?

You people crack me up, attempting to call us small minded. Your faith is the epitomy of small mindedness. Look up "small minded" in a dictionary - it has a picture of you!!!

If your God isnt here on earth - what is the point of his existence then? Why search for him where they are no humans? And, seeing as you people claim he is ALL AROUND US at all times, then why havent we seen him?
