I like my guy to look hard and tough on the outside but on the inside soft and cute. Even though he may be soft he still knows how to take care of business when it comes down to it. He will show emotions only to his mom, sisters, and I now that is the kind of guy that I like.

personally, I prefer a hot, hard and tough looking guy. But I want him to be soft and cute on the inside. I tend to love bad guys.

EDIT: My partner is 6 foot and built like a brick sh*t house, he is well known in our area as a person to respect and not mess with but he is the most gentle, loving man I have ever been with - so for the answer saying "women don't know what they want" and "they expect men to be two completely incompatible things at once" is a load of rubbish - most of us women do know what we want and yes men can be tough and hard looking but can be soft and cute too!!

I like a guy who isn't afraid to take the lead! I don't want a little embarrassing guy who is force me to make all the moves! But i don't want some jerk who is gonna be all full of himself! Be soft at the right times, and tough when its ok! Don't compliment urself and don't put urself down! Don't push her around, make her feel comfortable! But if u have a certain girl, just ask her what she likes! If it's u- go for it, but if ur not like that then find some1 else! It's never worth it to change urself!

From the response here you can tell women don't know what they want. They except men to be two completely incompatible things at once. Maybe men want a women that does what he says but is independent, who's a freak but a virgin.

I think guys should be both. When you first meet him, his public persona, the guy everybody knows, should be hard and tough. But then, once you get to know him really well, he should be soft and cute. NOT mushy, girly, soft and cute, but the "vulnerable" soft and "make you giggle" cute.
