Do you mean your parents are scaring your boyfriends away? That's a shame. But when you find the right guy, he'll care about you enough to manage to put up with them and not be frightened off (no matter how hard your dad might try!). Just keep looking. Good luck.

Well it depends. I am a parent and I dont want to give you the wrong advice. First of all it depends on how old you are. Some parent are over protective beacuse they can see what you cant . Other parents could just be really mean and dont want you with any onw right now.
But honestly, this is a question you should be asking you parents. You need to have a sit down with them. It's nothing like have a open and close relationship with your parents. I never had it and I wish I did I think that it would've been so much easier.
I ask that you think about the situation because you dont want to get in trouble over this guy and he dont have the same feelings as you.
You think about your feeling and make sure that he's what you want, for sure you dont want to keep on going thru this with your parents. That will show your loved ones that you dont know what you want.

If your parents don't like your boyfriend something must be wrong with him. Your parents know things that you don't, like maybe he has an sexually transmitted disease. you should listen to your parents and leave him alone before you regret it.

Time, just give them time, and they will end up trusting you. This will take time of course, took me 6 months.
