I would tell your mom,"Mom, you have me you know!" Maybe ask about having a 'date night.' You guys can do something every week or every other week. Like, you can go bowling, see a movie, go out for ice cream, go out to dinner, go shopping, go swimming, dance, do facials, do eachothers nails and toes. She'll feel better maybe. Or you can just assure her that she'll stay in touch with her friends, but she can also make new friends in the new neighborhood. Everything will fall into it's place. I hope your mom cheers up soon! :)

i think i can help.....first surprise her with breakfast in bed...... a nice restaurant meal will really help a lot.....give her an hour to relax and maybe add in a nicely scented candle and a good book and some bath goodies will get u one happy mom.....movie night set up... pick out a great family movie add pizza and popcorn a cozy pillow and blanket and gather together to enjoy the show......make some decoration in the house and put flowers all around and maybe a hand-painted cake plate but don't forget the cake... most mom's would consider having someone else clean their home even for once to be a glorious luxury so try to do the cleaning service... and u can give her a gift certificate to a local spa or hair salon..... i think this is more than enough towards a super happy mom

Why don't you and your mom make some kind of plans to go out together? Go see a movie, do dinner, go get your nails done, what ever it is that you both like to do. That might get her mind off the broken plans and will give you both some thing nice to do.

chat with her and generally spend time with her... mums love it when their daughters spend 'quality time' with them! try to take her mind off it and she'll cheer up in no time!
