Toast your favourite bread, spread with your favourite butter or marg. Spread with phyladelphia cream cheese (low fat if you want) Top with sliced tomato. sprinkle with a generous amount of cracked pepper and chicken salt. Sounds simple but it's really yummy.

Look for Mitani chicken salt in your supermarket, I'm Australian , so you might not have it where you are, but you should. By the way I'm just a pig when it comes to butter I'll usually slap it under anything, but it's entirely optional. Happy eating. And I'm not pregnany either,( I hope)

Any other fruit or veggie besides tomatoes, and I'm there. A lifelong allergy has caused me to not like them, either. Don't know about the buttered toast with cream cheese. There is a little local sandwich shop around the corner from my house that serves a sandwich that is somewhat similar: toasted croissant, cream cheese, cranberry relish, turkey, leaf lettuce. It's delicious!

Take out the butter and am way there.

I also like just mayo, sliced tomato and salt/pepper.

Quite good as well.

Yes I would because I can eat tomatoes alone with just salt and pepper

It sounds like my favorite summertime sandwich with tomatoes fresh from the garden. I've always used provolone cheese though, but I'll have to try the cream cheese.

I can't wait for summer! :-D

Cream cheese and butter eaten together doesn't sound too yummy. However, I'd definitely try it sans butter

I believe you. I have eaten lo cal mayo and tomato sammidges with salt and pepper -- as well as thinly sliced red onion sandwiches -- and find them delicious. I'll give your recipe a try.

What is chicken salt? You don't need butter and cream cheese both.
