I cannot get my mind off my ex-boyfriend. I told him not to call me. He just was not ready for any thing really serious but still wanted me to be around. I was not wanting him to call me until he was ready but it has been over 2 weeks, i am hurting so bad. He did e-mail me last night just a funny joke, but that was it. Is he trying to communicate or just e-mailing to e-mail.

The e-mail was a probe to see if you are still interested. He gave you the space you wanted but you are still on his mind. How serious does he have to be right this minute anyway? I don't know either of you but maybe the time just isn't right for him to make a big commitment. Ask yourself if you aren't being manipulative by trying to force him to make a commitment before he is ready.

You are not saying he did anything wrong that led you to stop him from calling you - all he did was not commit. Now, if you are ready to live with the lack of commitment, then call him, but this time concentrate on building the relationship and getting to know each other better.

He probably still likes you and wants you to be tripping over this like you are. So yes he's trying to talk to you, but he's still not ready to be serious.

Let it go and keep occupied with something to stop thinking of him. I know you're hurting but be strong and speak positive thoughts. If he wants you he will make the effort to get you.

He's just emailing to email, sorry to say but it seems like he has moved on and so should you. don't call him, go on a date with some other guy or have fun with your girlies but dont stick around worrying about this guy. if he doesn't have the curtsey to call you or even the guts then just move on.
