It all depends how you approach them. If you scare them, they will back away. If you seem desperate or dirty, they won't want to know you. If you're good-looking and/or confident, you may be in with a shout. It all depends on the girl you're asking. Some will be horrified at being asked out in the street, some will be flattered, others will laugh.

On the street? Are you kidding? Had some guy following me around in his pickup truck while out for a walk yesterday; it was scary, not flattering. Only once was I flattered...a perfect stranger approached me at the mall and told me I was a very beautiful woman, possibly the most lovely he had ever seen. I was so moved and impressed by his courage...he did not ask me out and we went our separate ways.

When I used to work in a petrol station, a complete random joe came in and started chatting to me as if he knew me. Then he asked me out. Which I politely refused. I found the whole experience bizarre - especially the slicked forward hair! lol

It might depend on exactly how the guy approaches the woman though I would highly NOT recommend taking on a date with a random guy. (unless you're one of THOSE)

I don't know if I would. But my bloke ran up to another woman & handed her a red rose simply because she smelt delicious (which he told her).

He was able to as we were standing @ his x-sis-in-laws florists stall in the local market. He simply picked up the flower, ran off, handed it to her & came back & explained to me what he'd done & y (oh, & paid for the rose)

Needless to say his is my X boyf
(No he never EVER bought me flowers, not even a daffodil, which r v cheap)

Yes, there is a wider selection of people on the street, so why limit yourself?

If you count laughing in the guy's face as positive, yeah, I guess I do.

* I have had that happen to me and although it is flattering it is a bit scary. Maybe it is just me, but I am cautious. You just never know who they are. I guess it also would depend on how they asked you and were you met them.

Not really. most people find it creepy. If someone randomly came up to you that you didn't know and asked you out how would you feel? aquard I bet.

I wouldn't.
I just think
"what the hell gives you the right to presume that i would go out with you.
Why do you presume that i do not already have a life"
