have you told anyone what that means to you yet? These people seemed maybe a little corrupt, but even though they are not NAMI they seem to want to speak for me, why do people do that? Form large organizations that lobby and then don't follow lobbying rules or play fair and then say that they speak for us? Why do people listen to them even if they are not telling the truth or in fact may be being corrupt?

"The people you speak of are the grassroots in America" no they are not, from what I noticed there were a couple of grassroots type people there, the others were either political figure or trainers for political figures or they were academians, there is a difference when you are talking about doing something about social / human rights issues. "their intention is positive, correct?" perhaps some of them, not the others. "If not, and you do not like the way they are speaking for you hire a lobbiest(expensive)." I am not that wealthy, and the statement was made that it is not about money, that though is exactly what it is all about all the time, it takes money to do anything almost, some more then others. "Be patient and contact that legislator" It's important, but it is hard for any "one" to beat any 1,000 no matter how the 1,000 got together or for what reason, hate to say this, but look what they did to Jesus! And now everyone likes to holler God, God!

"Are you talking about Trauma" inflicted on people by the psychiatric systems that be, yes! Because of dramas and needs in peoples lives that they don't really know how to meet at the time or are not exactly sure how to get through, and more often mistakes, even medical mistakes, and the system that says that they are there to help and protect people which ends up only hurting them more where they end up disabled for no real good reasons and that is called psychiatric abuse. Many times through court ordered coerced and forced treatments that don't really treat any thing at all, don't help, and end up in the long run in many cases making things far worse then they do making them better. Yes.

"Thats a rather negative way of labelling yourself dont you think?
How about attracting other human beings and their interest in ourselves by labelling ourselves in more positive ways"
I certainly do see it as more positive if I am going to talk about it in any worldly way, and I hate labels, to use that term or "thriver" rather then the exact negative, unappealing, unrealistic, uncaring labels such as consumer, consumer or peer provider, NAMI member which is more then 50 % funded now by the drug companies to push drugs, part of the system- which I am not, or professional torturer of others, the only other more positive label that I could ever give myself or any other human being would simply be just that: a human being, no name calling, but if there is to be name calling I will choose my own name don't you agree that is fair?

"by standing firm and saying what most are afraid to say and many are afraid to hear" once you know the truth you stand against all odds, because you have a reason you have the "the truth" and you don't want to die from the lies
"the majority is willing to be led to slaughter while the "self appointed shepherds" get fat off of their well trained flock" that is only because they don't know or understand yet, some are scared and hooked, and they believe that it is the only way now
we all have to stand together and get out of this together, it can not be just one of us, but we have to make the others see and I don't know if I can do that, on my own I think it is impossible, I dang sure am going to try, things have to change it has gone to far now
thanks for your answer, don't give up just because of your age we need all of us okay, you might be the one that has that light to change it with, those that might not listen to me might listen to you instead or another, don't give up

They may not know proceedure but it 's great to hear that there are people who care....Throw your weight behind a legislator or senator who supports your cause.....Write editorials in a newspaper .....The people you speak of are the grassroots in America...their intention is positive ,correct? If not, and you do not like the way they are speaking for you hire a lobbiest(expensive).Be patient and contact that legislator..

First let me say....abused or not, rich or poor, truth or lies,...you light up my heart! There are free thinkers out there, and they need to be heard. Chris I ..... drives this point home, by standing firm and saying what most are afraid to say and many are afraid to hear such straight talk. One of you need to jump on a bus and stir this country up...I'm too old and have a hard enough time paying taxes, feeding my animals, and keeping up with energy bills to run for office...but you two should get together and give the present gamers a run for their money.
Now then....I believe the mainstream has become so lazy and complacent living in this world of immediate satisfaction , that the majority is willing to be led to slaughter while the "self appointed shepherds" get fat off of their well trained flock.

we all are victims. anyone who has ever attended a public school is a victim. starting from the 1950s, we were programed to fail. life is a rich persons game, your either on one side or the other. its money, and thats all. our entire political system is corrupt, along with the judicial system, big business, even our health care system. people listen because they were programed to do so, and as long as they are getting by, alot of them dont care. our constitution means nothing. we really are not a free society. of,by ,and for the people is a joke. the majority is supposed to rule, but that doesnt happen now, does it? this country has had the technology and resources to be totally independent for years, but havent done it for the sake of money. we dont need oil. theres enough in this country to last until alternative energy sources can be implemented. they could have been in use long ago, but when oil rules a country, the people in power will drag their feet as long as possible. there would be more jobs available if we used the alternative sources, the global warming would be slowed down, our air would be cleaner, and the cost of living would not be as bad, but that is what the wealthy dont want to see. g. w. bush is a living lie, and is dragging this country down, and it all has to do with the oil biz. we, as a country, are hated world wide, and most of that hate stems from the middle east where we get most of our oil. the really sorry part is, people are losing their lives in wars just to keep the rich people rich. its not for freedom.

I have the best of folks but I still consider myself as a psychiatric abuse survivor of myself. Somehow despite my parents' upbringing I got into the habit of blaming my mental and emotional mainstay on everything around me and was never happy and I was frustrated and angry and saw everything against me instead of accepting full responsibility for my life. This changed in my earlier thirties and now My life is awesome. A genuine soul-search set me free of my own self-induced prison. I know this is a little off your mark but it's huge to me. I certainly don't dismiss others' problems and how's and why's but I do think a lot of problems can be solved by the will to eradicate them through a conscious endeavor.

We all are subject to psychiatric abuse, whether it be through a mate or a family. If you survive, it will make you stronger than you ever thought possible. If you want to change the world abandon your fears and speak up.

I gather that you feel you have been abused by the psychiatric community. I feel for you, and hope you can get some sort of reasonable redress of grievances. God bless you; my prayers are with you.
