Absolutely differently. Our brains are structured and wired completely differently from each other. This leads to many differences in perception as well as behavior, emotion, and so on. Indeed we are so different we could almost be considered different species insofar as how we see the world.
A common example is the corpus callosum (the series of nerves that connect the two brain halves together), because of this men's brains focus more on one side of the brain (and one task) at a time and only focal points of activity are found. With women the two brain halves are more connected so their whole brain is active. This makes women better at multitasking, communicating, associating, reading nonverbal cues, etc. but men are better at math, navigation, puzzles, science, logic and other "specialized" aspects.
Another thing is where our sensory input and perceptions are routed. When men get information (visual, hearing, smells, etc.) it goes to different parts of the brain. With women information is filtered through emotional parts first. The difference is that men tend to be more "coldly" rational while women tend to see things in terms of their emotions.
To really go further into detail you'd have to learn about neurology, intergender communication, and evolutionary psychology. But a very simple and easy to read book highlighting many of the differences (which I recommend) is:
"Why Men Don't Listen & Women Can't Read Maps" by Allan and Barbara Pease or "The Female Brain" by Louann Brizendine

yes, i think so..ever hear of the book "men are from mars, women are from Venus"?..we think differently, therefore we act differently..if women were world leaders, there would be far less wars cuz when women get mad at each other, they just stop talking, and when men get mad, they want to fight...LOL

If there is love and understanding they would look together towards issues and if these ingrediants are not found then they would apparently look solo and disputes would find a way.
