He is my ex-boyfriend's friend. They aren't best friends but they eat at the same lunch table and everything so they are pretty close. We flirt a little, and I think he likes me, but he is my two-week-long ex-boyfriend's friend. What should I do? Should I talk to my ex? I don't know if my ex still likes me though. I certainly don't like him. He is so annoying! But I really like his friend. He is sweet, funny, smart and my friends think we are perfect for each other. What should I do? The thing is about my ex is that he was crazy about me and then I broke up with him because he was too immature. I know that sounds mean, but you don't know him! Everybody in the whole school knew about the "relationship". It has all blown over though, I think. I am 13 and I am in the 8th grade by the way.

go ahead and see his friend.
you don't owe your ex anything.
but try not to rub it in his face if you can help it, and maybe give him a heads up so he doesn't get surprised by seeing the two of you in the hall or something.
you're sweet for worrying about it.

I know two weeks is a long time in 8th grade, but it sounds like you didn't have a very serious relationship. I'm pretty sure your ex will get over you eventually, and since you were only together for two weeks, I don't think there's anything wrong with dating his friend.
