Can you tell if a guy likes you just by reading subtle body language? I'm gathering up the nerve to talk to this one (HOT) guy who lives in my dorm building but don't wanna do it if he's obviously not into me.
Judging by the way college girls at my school all seem to be way hotter than me b/c they are fake and throw themselves at guys, I feel like I don't have a chance. Plus, I have a "great personality" and all that fun stuff, and don't get me wrong, I'm attractive and have had guys like me, but I'm shy. This has been my biggest problem w/ meeting guys. I always bump into him in the most random places (walk past him on a floor, see him in the dining hall, elevator, laundry rm, etc)
I need to meet him.

I'm in the same position.
You dont NEED to meet him. Love is patient!! There you go...it's PATIENT ... I'm not some washed up 80yr. old granny telling you this. I'm just going to be real.
You need to wait. Why?? Because the right guy will not need to be pushed or primed by you. He'll just be there.
Real love is the kind of love that is worth waiting for. Sometimes we're so desperate to figure out "body language and signs" because there is something lacking---such as actual Words, Conversation, stated Intentions, and more importantly ACTION.
We girls think we have to "help guys along" by asking them out, approaching them, initiating everything, when in fact, it's the REAL MAN'S job to do all this.
We make up excuses saying "Oh, he's too shy.", when in fact, he's probably really not interested.
If you just want "someone" who's perfect just because they're "HOT!" as you say, well take your pick and throw yourself on the guys you think you want.
But if his inner ugliness happens to appear eventually, dont be surprised--because LOOKS arent everything.

There is no such thing as perfection. You need to realize that because you surely are not the perfect woman either. Now with that said you can find someone that fits with you, but you will need to be willing to put first what matters the most. I mean, I am willing to be with a woman who is JUST a little pretty and NOT beautiful if she has the personality I want her to have and if she likes me. I am putting what matters the most to me as the #1 (her personality and attitude towards me) and I am putting looks as a 2nd. If I think she looks well (which = just a little bit pretty or average) then that's good enough. To be honest with you if I was looking at the models ONLY I would never meet the perfect woman...... because after all the perfect woman does not have to be a model, neither the perfect man. Remember "soulmates" is mainly about understanding each other like nobody else could, not about being the prettiest, or the best in this or that....... get it?

You can't ever read a guy by body language cause they all flirt with every girl! If you like him just go up and talk to him! And it sounds like you're a lil insecure! Quit putting urself down and find the nice things about urself! Change how shy u are! Jump into new things and be outgoing! An outgoing girl will get his attention!

yes, sometimes you can read body language, but if you have any classes with him, ask him about assignments, if not see where he hangs out, and be there a couple of times, if he isn't involved with anyone then good..if he is, back off...why not just ask him out for coffee one day??
