i just wanna say a very important thing for people who said that the islamic religion says to kill people who disagree. obviously, i am 100% sure you are MISTAKEN . there aren't any single quote in qur'an says that. actually there are so many says the exact opposite like "treate people of different believes the best way you can" and we all know that world is for every one . all people are free in choosing their religion and believes and it is not acceptable to force anyone do any thing. i have alot of christian friends and we get along very well.

i believe that you can't judge on npeople without really know every little detail. you can't talk bad about someone just because you heard something and not sure about it.

The media does a lot to influence people's perception. Unfortunately there are some extremists in the world who make Islam look badly, and the media LOVES to focus on them. Bad, hateful, ugly news sells. Talking about the 1.6 billion peaceful Muslims will do nothing for their ratings.

I do not think that anyone is bad person, However there are a lot of misguided people out there and a lot of them are poor ignorant Muslims that are being used by some hateful people for what they believe to be true. That does not make them bad, only misinformed. Why do some people believe that if I do not see things as you do that I should be killed for seeing things different from you?
The very thing that makes life so interesting is all our many different ways of looking at life, if it were not for that we would be just like ant's or bee's. We should celebrate our many differences.

Most people have a blame-the-whole-system problem. If one tiny branch of a group/religion does something wrong, they blame the whole darn thing.

It's like the Catholic priest scandal. Now everyone thinks all priests are pedophiles, when there are 40,000 priests in the United States, and only 300 were ever even accused of anything.

I blame the media, but with a teaspoon full of stupidity from people as well. Make that a bucketful.

Most people don't think all Muslins are bad or that all the bad people on earth are Muslim.

But, of course, you're going to hear a lot about Islamic terrorists -- the World Trade Center, Madrid, London, the African embassies, the attacks against civilians in Iraq, all these horrific murders of innocent people, both Muslim and non-Muslim. The Muslims who do these things ARE bad.

People are still stuck on Al Queda, the Taliban, and the 9/11 attacks. Since 9/11 was planned by some Muslim extremists, people assumed that all Muslims were bad and evil. People tend to need something/someone to blame, whether or not it's their fault.

people see the false picture that the media gives us , and they don't try to see the truth.
Islam is being attacked, everybody is trying to distort the picture or Islam, and the problem is that people believe everything.

some people do stuff and do it under the name of "Islam" and use the "Islam" as an umbrella to hide neath it.

for example: if a guy hurts me, i can't say "all the guys are bad"
lets say you know a family, and you know all the 6 members of that family for example, they're all very good ones, if one of them kills his neighbor, you just can't say "this family is the worst" "they're evil", and start attacking them, and treate them like "S***".

and that's whats happening with Islam and Muslims

I know that all Muslims are not bad. Probably most of them are peaceful, but there are more and more schools teaching Jihad.

I also know that most Christians had nothing to do with the Crusades, but they are also painted with the wide brush used to paint those who were involved.

It is also worthy of note that the Crusades were a response to violent Muslim acts in the middle east, north Africa and Europe.

That is two-faced in my humble opinion.

I think its always easier to blame someone with a religion that is very misunderstood and misrepresented by fanatics. Unfortunately we live in a society that is very narrow minded.

People should not be judged for their religion, it's wrong.

The media owned by (ill let you research which 4 letter word to describe them) propagate their propaganda, so they have some reason of why they flew half way across the world to kill over 500,000 Iraqi civilians.....
