My sister got married in the spring, I hosted her shower. I made the theme about a bride gathering her own flowers for her bridal bouquet, and made the centerpieces things like gardening tools, a sun bonnet, flower seed packs, gardening shoes, garden gloves, with some netting under them to brighten the table. I gave the guests name tags with flower names on them (gardenia, daisy, etc.) at the end of the shower, I instructed the ladies to look at the centerpieces, I had attached the flower names to the different items, and they got to take home whatever matched their name tags. It was fun, and I didnt have stuff to take home. I got everything at the dollar store, very inexpensive.

I was in Dollar Tree last week and saw some really cute silk flower candle rings. You could buy one of those and put a coordinating candle inside. That way you would have a little bit of floral plus the added softness and warmth of the lit candle. That would only be $2.
Another idea is go to Walmart, in the craft dept and buy one of those 97 cent round glass bowl(kinda like a small fish bowl), add some color coordinated gems(97 cents a bag and you could probably use one bag for two bowls), then place a small glass votive holder down inside the gems with a votive candle inside. I bought my glass votive holders at Dollar General 2 for $1.00 and then the votives you can get at the Dollar Tree in packs of 10. Tie some raffia or silk ribbon in the appropriate color around the top of the bowl and you'll have a very nice centerpiece that will double as a nice take home prize for less than $3.

I have made a beautiful centrepiece with a rod iron candle holder and a lovely colored candle on top. Some of the candle holders were spray painted gold for the occasion. These were done for $2. each. One dollar for the rod iron holder and one dollar for the large candle. Everyone was impressed and you can choose an appropriate colour to match other items.

Go with potted plants, they even have those at the dollar store. If you want to get fancy you can get some terracotta pots from Wal-mart, paint them with the shower's theme, and then plant a flower/ plant in each of them. I did this, and I inscribed the bottom with the date and event, people loved them (it cost me about $15).

Yep, go to walmart and get some small tin pails from the craft section then take them to the grocery store florist and have them arrange a bouquet of daisys in them. They are beautiful and CHEAP. And all the women who win them will be very happy.

i imagine you should bypass the money in contact for this and bypass for the classic "envelope below the chair" form. truly, those personalised lottery tickets are exceedingly expensive and at the same time as i'm particular your centerpieces will be fab they are not worth a contest or yet even more beneficial money for a particular lotto. as well, what about the loser travelers....do they no longer get to savour a lollipop too?
