Behind my right ear there is a tender lump. It does not hurt or itch, even when I touch it, but I don't want it to be something serious. I just noticed it today, but it may have been there for weeks and I had not noticed it before. Anyone know what it might be and if it will go away?

My grandson had the same thing and went to the doctor and she said that it was a swollen gland and gave him antibiotics to take. The swelling has gone down now. It may be that is what you have. You should go to the doctor to have it checked.

It sounds like a swollen lymph node. You should go to your doctor just to make sure that it's okay.
