Im giving up Christianity because?
I sin everyday and I pray to God for help to stop, but I have no self control, here are what I do:

Lie
Commit Adultery(porn)
Masturbate
I have an addiction to Dr Pepper
Jealousy
Greed

All of these things I do daily, if not, at least a few of them.

1 John 3:6
No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.

Here is my conclusion, there is no way Im going to stop most of these, and I even do something if I know its a sin, and Im heading for hell(if there is one), so I might as well live life the way I want.

It is your choice to do what you want to do. I, nor anyone else, can not force you to think or believe in a particular way. If you truly want to walk away, that is your choice. But I think you asking this question as a cry for help. I would urge you to pray, to read the Word, and to worship God. We don't change overnight when we get saved. It is a life long process of sanctification that does not end until we die. I didn't quit drinking until months after I got saved. I still smoke and haven't been able to quit yet. It is a struggle, every day, to keep my thoughts and my heart pure. You are not alone. It is the journey that is important. Please don't give up.

Look man, anyone can take the word of teh bible literally and out of context. That is called extremist christianity. What god wants most from you is ur best effort. WE ALL SIN, its part of our nature.

How about trying this, everytime u do one of these sins how about doing something nice for someone(i.e. a kind act, listening to a friends problems etc.).Maybe u can never get rid of all these sins but maybe u can lessen them in some way. Trust me no one is more patient than jesus.
