okay - I had the exact same problem - except not anymore. I sucked it up and got them waxed. If you go to a nice salon, you can expect to pay about $30. Also, at a nice salon they should use really good wax which will not hurt as bad as you might think. The beauty of this is (1) your arms will be nice and smooth for a long time (at least 6 weeks) and then only a little bit of hair will grow back, (2) it will hurt less and less as time goes on - in fact if you get them waxed every two months - it will barely hurt at all.
I highly advise against shaving your arms. do you really want stuble on your arms? that's worse than the hair.
Lastly, if you truly cannot stomach getting waxed, bleaching isn't such a horrible solution either. I have known plenty of women who have done this.

I shave mine and have for years-it has not come back thicker!-You need to shave/wax/nair/bleach for now. Save your money for laser hair removal-I priced it at $1500 to treat one area. I cannot get it done for my arms-they said the laser does not work on light colored hair. If I were you-I would wax or bleach. Oh and I agree with others-you should not bleach really blonde. Maybe just a little darker.

I have this stuff called skindinavia.... it works great it makes the hairs come in really really thin after you shave. I prefer not to shave my arms...I use this hair off mitten that makes the hair thin as well... but if you do use the mitten, don't push too hard and move the mitten in a circular motion. Once you think the hairs are at a good thickness, spray the skindanavia... it will take about 3 to 4 days to get really good results. It takes a little practice to get used to everything, but eventually you will master it.

Pick a day/s and stick with it. for ex she shaves every monday and friday. . GOOD LUCK!

Well my first two ideas were waxing or some type of nair product, but you were against those. Is there possibly a product similar to nair that doesn't smell as bad? Waxing may hurt, but I think it would be worth it.

ok. i personally hate hairy arms...and trust me i can say that cuz i had em! it was discusting...i would prsactically have to "comb" my hair over so it wouldnt look even worse. so i decided to try nair - OMG that stuff reaks AND i accidentally left it on for like a minute too long and i got this nasty rash. SO...what id suggest is shaving. its easy one you get used to it and cheap too. i used to use shaving cream, lather it up, and take like 15 minutes to shave my arms...that got tiring really quick. so i resulted in shaving them in the shower. i shower everyday but shave my arms every other. i dont use shaving cream any more...just body wash. and trust me it looks better and feels better. and when you shave more often you dont have to be as particular to get all the hair off - cuz its not grown out too far. also if you find yourself not having enough time to shave, but really need it - you can use lotion to soften the hairs so that it doesnt feel too prickly.
and let me tell you something else: if our hair grew back thicker every time it was shaved or fell out we would all be huge fro hairy mammoths!!!! it is no not tru!

Just shave it off, dont give it time to grow. contrary to popular belief, shaving doesnt make the hair grow thicker, thats nonsense. It just appears thicker and harsher when it first begins to grow out because of the angle in which the hair was cut, once its grown out its back to how its always been.

Dont shave!!!!!!!!! It gets so ugly. I would either laugh back at them cuz everyone has hairy arms no offense. Or u could just not show yur arms. Like wear longs sleeved shirts in the fall or winter and spring. Also there is this gel.

wax. seriously. if you have money do the last thing otherwise just wax. Ya, it hurts but not that bad...just have a friend do it after you have a drink or two. it looks the most natural. Whatever you do, dont shave!!!!!!
