[006:125] And whomsoever God wills to guide, He opens his breast to Islâm; and whomsoever He wills to send astray, He makes his breast closed and constricted, as if he is climbing up to the sky. Thus God puts the wrath on those who believe not.

[006:126] And this is the path of your Lord (the Qur'ân and Islâm) leading straight. We have detailed Our Revelations for a people who take heed.

[006:127] For them will be the home of peace (Paradise) with their Lord. And He will be their Walî (Helper and Protector) because of what they used to do.

This is the Qu'ran you should read it for yourself. If you want a free one in English message me.

Small prophet, quick return. It's a basic financial principle.

Oh, we are going with the bog-standard "If it's false then it cannot be of god" mantra today, are we people?

I think the "It is the work of Satan" mantra fits so much better, don't you?

Or how about the "You are going to hell for saying that" mantra? I haven't heard THAT mantra for nearly an hour now.

Alternatively you could just quote some scripture. That's always a great answer.

It's just a suggestion, but the questioner asked what you THINK. Could you at least TRY to answer the question with THOUGHT?

A pretend god is any except the real God Jehovah it truly is the author of the universe and the single deserving of all praise and worship. A pretend prophet is someone that comes forth preaching doctrines that do not have any foundation in the truths depending in the Bible ( the trinity, hellfire, immortality of the soul...) and prophecies which also at the prompt are not depending in the Bible. those deceive the a lot and are responsible for tens of millions of deaths awful crimes in the call of "god". those pretend leaders are the followers of devil . Why do I say this? nicely , imagine about it. Why may devil want human beings to stay with pretend Prophets and to stay with pretend prophecies ? to lead the human beings faraway from the real God, Jehovah. I recommend, would not it make experience that to lead someone faraway from the actuality you may basically tell them lies and deliver them liars to decieve them? So that's what devil has finished over the years considering that he first duped Adam and Eve in the backyard of Eden. Lies worked for him then; they artwork for him now. Deception is his fantastic device. That, and discouragement. and what's more beneficial discouraging to human beings than to experience that they are being misled by ability of the very those that they experience like they should be able to have self assurance the most, the clergy?

take some responsibility people! i don't mean to sound cruel, but the sooner we realize that WE are to blame for most of the crap we go through, the sooner we realize that WE are also responsible to clean it up. God is not going to prevent anything. thats what the whole point of free will is. Choices, choices, choices. I wish I could have had faith and belief handed to me, i wish that doubt didn't exist - life would be a lot simpler, no? those billions of followers made their choice. if God prevented that then those people did not go to him freely and that is not the way he set it up, obviously.

Actually, although we say USA, UK etcetera are christian countries, its only a cultural thing. True believers have to believe and accept a basic understanding of Jesus as Saviour in order to be actually forgiven and born again. According to the Bible Satan and his demons are constantly at work trying to blind people to the gospel message and put them off it via various strategies. As Jesus says his way of salvation begins with a narrow gate, and to progress well is a narrow way.

So given there's a large culturally christian/agnostic sector of our societies, you can see why a false prophet can do quite well in a society. With the case of Islam, it is a quite plausible system of ideas. Also many good ideas about God are there. And it has appealing rituals to make you feel good.
It just drops the vital bits about how to get saved of one's sins. It focuses aggression against the claim that Jesus died for sins, and it also focuses violence in a few areas, to be unnoticeable to the believer since they are just focused subtly. Eg to prevent conversion out of Islam.
The unthinking mass will just see the pleasing setup of ideas and ritual, and be satisfied.
The unthinking mass is agnostic/fad religionist in the US and UK and has always been so, really. In Islamic countries that unthinking mass readily buys into Islam. BUT people who want to get out of the religion are blocked by the focused aggression against apostasy.
So basically from the christian point of view, people are very foolable, sadly. "But to those who believed He gave power to be sons of God". "We know that we are children of God and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one".

Well, according to scriptures, there will arise many false prophets to lead astray even the elect if it were possible. People are lead astray usually because they want to be- they want to be told what to do instead of actually learn to hear God's voice telling them what to do.

According to scripture though, there will be many who get to heaven, and say, "haven't we cast out demons, haven't we healed the sick in Your Name, etc" and Jesus will say, "depart from me, I never knew you."

So in that sense, there will be those that do not know Christ, and they may be pastors, missionaries, and televangelists, even well known ones, miracle working ones- that don't even know Jesus. They may know how to play the religious games, and may even lead many to a saving faith in Christ, and themselves go to hell.

That should be a sobering thought for anyone that thinks they are doing God's will. Don't you think?

The very concept of "false" prophet means that the prophet is not from (or of) God.

Satan has that job...

I've read the end of the book, Satan gets his dues. No worries there. God has a great plan for Satan and his followers. I trust the living God.

Jesus saves, forgives and lives!

You people are so funny.

Out of one corner of your mouth you scream and yell about free will, and out of the other you say god would prevent people from using their freewill.

Hypocrites.
