I want to find some other people for my baby as I have no family of my own ideally grandparents or aunts, uncles. Does anyone know how I would do it SAFELY, I dont want to end up with the wrong people and I want them to think of being around her all through her life not just temporary. Any advice please?

The bestway to get a set of grandparents is go to nursing home as they would enjoy the company as your daughter the relationships. Do you have friends that can be like aunts and uncles. Dont put an ad on a website you might get some creeps

This is a difficult situation for you. You do have to be careful these days I'm afraid, which is such a shame. Maybe you can find a Parent/Toddler group in your area. You may find details in the local library, or from the local council. There might be details you can get from your Doctors surgery, or a local school. Not only will extend your daughters social life, but also yours. You will find there are others in the same situation as yourself. With you wanting to do this, it shows you care a lot, and your daughter is a lucky young girl. Please be careful though!!!. Wow, why dont you have any family? Poor lady...I am not sure but I would love to help you...maybe as the baby gets older you can go to the big brother big sister place...I am not sure where you are located....look into the local ...hmmmmm now I am stumped.....
You must be very careful nowadays there are so many perverts around...They may be just waiting to have a chance ya know..Ever try going to church an stuff...

Maybe look in to a local church and see if they have youth groups, family groups that you can get involved with. As you get to know people in the social groups you can decide who you want to be in your childs life and go from there. Maybe a Big Sister or Big Brother program in the area?

What exactly do you think families do?
Mine don't babysit for me and the presents are nothing to write home about.
Manufactured family gives me the creeps.If you need childcare find a childminder rather than a nursery often long term relationships develop .And you have the reassurance that they are CRB checked.

You want to basically ask strangers to join your family.
I dont really think that a wise idea mate.
Everybody has hidden skeletons, they may seem ideal for a while but you never know about there past etc.
What more does your child need but a loving mother and father?

The best advice is to not do this and think again.There are allot of dangerous people out and it is not safe asking anybody to become part of you and your child's life.Try going to mother and baby groups as there you will meet new people that could become friends and anyway when your child goes to nursery they will make new friends...........good luck.

I would go to a minister of a church, ask him if he knows of a good family in his church that you could "adopt" as the grandparents for your baby. I'm sure he will help you. It would be a good, safe way to find someone, as the minister would recommend them.

I think this is a sweet idea, if not a little naive. You'd have to be extremely careful to make sure you only let good people be around your baby. Sadly, older people are unlikely to 'be around all through her life' as humans have a tendency to die.

u cant find family for your daughter family abot love and caring, this is not somethink you find easy and u never who you may find you maybe getting yourself in a hole load of trouble as if any1 woz going to care for your dauter in this way they wud most probably b your close friends. b carful though cause you can never trust any1 these days and there r a lot of perv's that wud love to work there way into your family!!
