You could probably get arrested. Unless it is one of those like in a gas station that you can lock from the inside- one stall only. Sometimes you have to use those if the other one is occupied or closed for cleaning.

I certainly hope so!! I had a really bizarre thing happen to me about 41 years ago.
I was at a seminar and went into the ladies room. I was about to open the door
when I had the strong impression that I should go to the sink. Believe it or not, a
man came in and started looking over the top of all the stalls. I yelled at him and
asked what he thought he was doing. He said he was trying to find his wife. I
told him to get out or else. He did. Being quite pregnant--9 months--I couldn't
do much more than that. Should a man get a ticket for going into the ladies
room? Yes!! Also set the women lose on him. : }

If someone called the police they would take you away for Disorderly Conduct/Disturbing The Peace. You would have a misdemeanor arrest on your record. If anyoe accused you of doing more than you would probably be charged for that too.

Disorderly Conduct is the catch all charge. Anytime you do anything that infringes on others rights you can be picked up. As women have a right to use the restroom in privacy this would easily stand up in court.

If you're a man and you purposely go into the ladies' rest room, then yes, I should think so. It could be considered harassment or public disturbance or sexual assault.

Why would you want to? That's so incredibly rude... and the lines are always longer for the ladies' room, you really can't hold it for two minutes to use your own? Bizarre...

I'm pretty sure you can get in more trouble than just a ticket, if there was someone in there that got really upset by you being in there, they could sue you for a lot of money. That could be anything, like attempted rape, stalking, because what would be your reason for being in a girls bathroom in the first place?

Dude, have you seen the line at the ladies room? By the time you get in the door you would probably have wet yourself already.

Trust me, stick with the mens room - there is never a line there.
(And yes you can be cited for going into a women'e public restroom ya perv)

In Ontario Canada there is no offence for using the wrong restroom. The owner of the property could ban you from the property though.

Besides, the big lineups are always at the ladies washroom.

I've used the men's room on occasion so I don't see what the big deal is. The ladies room always has a huge line.

If it was an accident and you got out pretty quickly, and apologized if necessary, I doubt anyone would make a big deal of it. If you're a pervert lurking about, I imagine you might be arrested, or detained at the very least.

No, no one's going to give you permission for that, whether it's with a ticket or just a wave of the hand. You can't do it.

How badly do you have to go, anyway, if you had time to log on here and ask the question? Couldn't you have walked to a men's room by now?
