I am often told that he loves me in spite of my disbelief, because I am his child. He'll burn me for all eternity, but he loves me.

This doesn't make sense to me:-(

Hello sweet GODZILLA.. :)

God does Love you..

He does not want you to burn in hell for eternity..hell was made for satan and his angels, not people..

God has given us all a "choice" to be with Him for eternity in Heaven..

That is why the Lord sent His only Son Jesus to pay the price for our sins..we only have to believe..

I know it does not make any sense to you..it did not make sense to me either, until I had gotten to the point in my life that I did not care, what others thought about me..So I cried out to the Lord with a sincere and longing heart and that is when my eyes were opened to the "Truth"..

Until you are ready..you will Never understand Why..When and How..God is, was and will always be.. :)

I am here for you anytime, if you ever want to talk.. :)

In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love..In Christ.. :)

God does love non believers too. I'm sure God realizes how hard it is for some people to believe in something that is so hard to prove, and how cynical some people are. Why would someone who lives a good life and is good to others be punished. Why would anyone no matter what they did, be punished forever and ever without end? How could there truly be such a place as heaven if such a place as this hell existed. It would be impossible for a truly loving happy place to exist, if others are suffering. A God that can create what God created, would never punish someone forever. And would also be very understanding of our short comings.

Have you ever dumped or been dumped by a lizard-friend whom you loved or they loved you?

Same thing. Love was there and you chose to walk away from it. The "Burn" is similar to the feeling of heartbreak. As long as you are persistent that you don't want to be part of the love, then you're separating yourself from it. God's also feeling the heartbreak, but he's probably wiser at letting you go than your former lizard friends.

God does love us, even when we don't love him.

He wants to be in a relationship with us, even when we turn our back on him.

He will punish the evil and wicked that have turned their backs on Him.

You can not change the weather or the economy but you can choose where you spend your eternity.

May you find the peace and love of the living God and His Son, Jesus.

God loves you because you are his creation. He loved you enough to suffer torture, die and go to hell so that you would not have to. Three days later he was resurrected from the dead and to this day is saving souls, many of whom at one time felt just like you do. All God wants is your love and fellowship. This is why he created you. This is why he died for you. This is why he is calling you. I pray that you will let his love consume you and overwhelm you.

If you live in the northern part of the country you can't escape snow by refusing to believe in it. You can't stop God's love just by rejecting it. God's choice was to love you, just as it is your choice to not accept him. You don't control God. He gives you free agency to accept or reject him. He is a just God and you are warned about judgment but is still your choice.

No, it makes no sense at all.

It makes much more sense that if there is a God (and I believe that there is), God would love everyone and burn no one.

I think hell is something the church created way back to make people convert. The whole idea of "believe or spend eternity in a lake of fire" can be pretty powerful.

He does love you! He won't send you to hell just because you don't believe in him. I do believe you will get a chance to really learn about Him and His plan after death. Also, I don't believe in the hell that most christians believe in. I believe hell is a state of mind, of knowing that you disobeyed God and are no longer in His presence. I don't think any loving Father would want His children to be without Him. That's the whole point of the plan of Salvation!! It's to bring His kids back to Him. It doesn't matter if you don't believe in Him, it matters that He believes in YOU!!!!

If you just return His calls once in awhile or make Him some bbq ribs than maybe he'd change His mind about the burning for all eternity dealy.

Don't worry about it. It doesn't make sense to anyone who actually thinks about it. People who take the time to think about these things- i.e. use their brains, use logic, not believe BS just because they're told to- have a name. We're called non-believers. And since the GOd they talk about isn't real, he can't really burn you for eternity can he?
