how can I secure my wireless connection since this may make me vulnerable to intruders?

You need to re-post this question in the COMPUTER catagory! This is the TAX section so I'm not sure you will get much help! We have a wireless internet connection and I believe you have to have in a Wep key code in order to secure it---there is a step by step process if you are using Linksys Wireless, and there is a place for you to put in a name for your connection and set up a secure connection--you just have to go through the right steps. Hopefully, you will get some good responses over in the computer catagory if you re-post this question. Good luck!

This is not a tax question, but --- you should be able to set up you router with a key (see the manual) and then tell each computer on you wireless network what the key is.
What operating system are you on?
