. . . and claim they do it in the name of God, wouldn't I therefore have the exact same right to burn bibles, rosarys, hym books, and religious music? I'm not trying to be provacative, I'm asking you legitimately since this is an issue of free speach and religious freedom.

You buy it you can do what ever you want with it.

Personally, I don't see how what they are doing is very affective. And I doubt a Bible burning would be any more affective than what they're doing. Although, during the ages of Christian persecution someone said "The blood of Martyrs is like seed." Refering to how fast the church grew in spite (or because?) of persecution. In light of that, maybe burning the Bibles would cause more people to read them. There is a lack of reading God's Word among professed believers. This could prove an interesting experiment....But you can't have mine to burn I read them. The untattered one often and the falling apart one to refer to notes I've got penned inside.

Burn whatever you want. Free speech covers the burning of any of those things.

True- if one side can do it, so can the other
I really don't think anyone should burn books. It's a clear sign of intolerance

You have the right to do anything you want, under any set of circumstances, but remember that if you trespass on the powers to be you run the risk of their wrath.

People can burn whatever they want to, but it doesn't change the truth.

Good question.

Apparently for them tolerance is only one way... towards them!
