I know that "the form of this dialect was used in English law until the 17th century," but do people still use it?

Not really, but you can still find a few who speak very closely related languages on the Channel Islands. There are three Norman-derived languages there - one for Jersey, one for Guernsey, and one for Sark, although the Sark version is almost extinct,

These would probably have been mutually intelligible with Anglo-Norman.
