Hey,

I have black hair and what I do is dye my bangs crazy colors. Since my hair is black I have to bleach it first. I bleach it once a month to change colors. Some times I keep a color longer.

Now people keep waring me that I'm gunna go bald if I keep bleaching my hair, is this true? They also say dyeing it will make me go bald.

I know bleach makes the hair dry and brittle, but I use Infusium 23 Shampoo and Conditioner. I use Special Effects dye, and I belive it is a conditioning dye (is that true?). And I don't do it again in less than a month so I don't think it's too bad. . .

Will my hair fall out? What do you think?

Thanks,

Obviously not bald but will my bangs fall out.

I just don't understand why the hair should cease to grow, that would mean the roots are destroyed. Are they?

yes, dude, eventually your hair will be so weak and brittle, it will fall off, even if you condition. you are doing more harm to your hair than good. but since its only your bangs, you won't go bald. that happens to ppl who bleach their whole head. also, if you are bleaching from the roots, then expect it to come all off. if not, then just the ends will break off.

I'm not so sure it will 'fall out'. I'm a beautician and I color my hair a lot. I did an all over bleach to like a barbie blonde and my hair was fine. I also have thin hair. Everyones hair is different. But yes it does get stretchy and stringy if bleached too much. I wouldnt say it would fall out. I recomend using a medium developer and letting it sit longer instead of using a stronger developer. The only time I've actually seen someone's hair BREAK OFF is when someone said they've never had a perm and then they got an all over bleach and it broke off at the point where they had the perm still on the strands.

bleaching and even dying makes ur hair weak and its quite possible for it to fall out or break off, especially since you do it so often, once a month is not a very long break. pick a color and stick with it before u get to the point of it not growing back.

Jet black hair. I have truly dark brown hair and I think dark hair looks better. I don't really like blonde hair.

52 years ago, I had my hair bleach blonde, I had dk. brown hair
almost black, the girl put me under the dryer for 30 minutes with
the bleach, and I had sores all over my and it burned like hell on
earth! Now my hair is white in the whole front of my face and dk
grey, all on the back. Now if I wanted to go white on the back of
my head, would the same thing happen again? please give me

hi there ive heard this aswell the only thing ive noticed from using bleach as i have black hair aswell is that the hair ends up breaking i was told you should get your hair trimmed before using bleach. ive only used bleach to do under my hair and its alot shorter than the rest of my hair since using bleach so i think it can make your hair break.
hope this kinda helps.

You will run a high risk of it making your hair fall out, so I would not do it if I were you.

I tried it and in less than one week, there was a wider part on my head than usual.

Do not bleach your hair or use bleach in your hair.

My aunt has been bleaching her hair blonde since she was 13 and she's probably 60 now. Her hair is long and thick, down to the middle of her back. So, yes, there'as a possiblity of it falling out. But, no, it does not always make your hair fall out.

Then again her hair doesn't look very nice after all those years of bleaching. Its brittle, dry, and wirey.
