Oh my goodness..I am so fed up with all these little freshmen and sophmores in high school. I'm 16 and a sophmore in high school, I make out a lot with a lot of different guys, but I don't sleep around! Hardly anyone at my school is still a virgin..Do they not know the risks, I know they've been told..They could get pregnant or an std or sti..I mean I understand that if your with one guy and one guy only for like 2 years they're gonna try some "stuff", but they don't need to be having sex with a different guy every week..and they also don't need to get drunk every weekend, I've never even had a sip of alcohol..don't get me wrong, I'm very popular at my school, so it's not like you have to have sex to be popular..but just tell me what you guys think/!

You are sending mixed signals. First, you seem to have an air of superiority about you and come off as judgmental. At the same time, you indicate that you may be missing out on something. Which is it? My only answer would be that YOU need to do what is right for YOU and stop passing judgement on everyone else! Oh, and by the way, making out with many different guys can be considered just as slutty as actually doing it... you are getting the guys all revved up and then pulling the plug. That's not a nice thing to do! Don't be a tease, at least masturbate them after (or as) you make out! That way, you can remain a virgin and still supply some relief. Just experiment with it, and maybe even let them experiment with you. You don't have to go all the way! But my goodness, get off your high horse! The reason why you are popular is because everyone thinks you are a tease, and they are waiting to see who it is that will get you in bed first. Dont get me wrong I love to hear a girl your age say that she doesnt agree with the sex that kids have, God I love to hear a teen say that. But dont you know that you can still catch diseases from making out? Especially with so many other people.
In a way youre only a little better than the whores you talk about, basically you are a trophy, and everyone wants you on their shelf for show and tell. However once you give in, you are just a prize that will eventually be put away in the closet. My advice, stop making out with so many damn people. Then consider yourself to have the right to accuratly talk the way you are right now.

GOOD FOR U. You should truly be proud of yourself. Sex is not a game and can lead to heartache, stds, aids, pregnacy. To sleep around they have very low self esteem and will get reps that are not good. Not everybody is sleeping around. As for getting drunk they are too young and are not taking the conquences of their actions seriously instead of being popular they will be considered easy and loose. They need to watch Juvies on MTV to see what happens when you thin kyour being cool. Don't let anyone talk you into trying anything your not ready for. Sex should be special between two people who love each other and are mature enough to handle the emotions and outcome

I am soo sorry that you are all growing up in this kind of environment. I would suggest that you stop making out with a lot of different guys. Wait for someone special. Also, don't buy into the lie that after 2 years or so, it's ok to try some "stuff" (I assume you mean sex). I'm serious, this is a lie, and as black as they come. Sex should be reserved for marriage. It tells the other person, "I love you, you were worth waiting for, you are this important to me, I respect you." My boyfriend and I are going to be married someday, and we've agreed to wait (for various reasons) to have sex. I have a lot of respect for him because of this.

This is more of a rant than a question, but yes, I agree, many people rush into things before they are ready, and behave very irresponsibly by risking the health and safety of not only themselves, but other people.
Good for you for making up your own mind and falling to peer pressure. Try to be a good influence at your school by stopping rumors and passing along correct information - you can reach your fellow students in a way adults can't, and help put the information you learn in health class to work in real-life situations.

It's a shame that it has come to this. You should be proud of yourself for sticking up for your beliefs and not caving in. I hate it when people think they have to do what everyone else is doing - and then there is eveyrone else who may have a problem with you because you aren't doing "it".
I was pretty popular myself in HS, but was extremely busy with sports, music and other activities...trying to get into college and such. I wouldn't even have considered such a thing! My friends accepted me just the way I was...and that was a big reason for them being my friends.

I think you are a very wise young lady. You might be surprsised to know that there are 20-somethings who feel the same way you do. Sex shoild not be a recreational activity. Not only is the spread of disease widespread, but the emotional repercussions can be overwhelming later on. Stick to your guns on this one.

Yes you are. There's a lot of STD's floating around nowadays. And there's a risk of pregnancy that come from this as well. I suggest that you keep your head in the books and not waste time with sex!

i agree with u, hardly anyone is a virgin in my school and there is soooooooooo much drama u could make a soap opera.... neway ur right, dont have sex till around at the youngest 18 or 19
