I think absolutely the father has the right to know and his opinion should be treated as vitally important. Yes it's the woman's body and she has to carry the baby and even yes take a chance with her life. That can't be changed. Think about how helpless men feel in this situation. It's not like they can say, "Look if this it too much for you I'll do this one." You both made the decision to have sex, you both made the decision not to use protection so you both should have a say in what happens with that baby. Adoption should be chosen over abortion anyday if the baby's not wanted by either parent.

I think the man has the right to know if a woman is pregnant if she's his wife. Not if it's some random person or someone you don't know that well. Then it's none of their business. But it ISN'T the man's right to decide that you should get an abortion. That's for both parent's to decide. Not just one. And I would never want to get an abortion in the first place. It's like murder! If you truly didn't want the child, i would still have it and put it up for adoption. But still, both are very cruel things to do to a baby. Just care for the poor thing. Who needs men?!

Heck yeah I think the man has every right to know. I don't think its at all fair for a woman to go have an abortion without getting the fathers point of view and giving him the chance to accept responsilbility to care for the child if the mother is unwilling. I may not be a man but if I were and I had gotten a woman pregnant, I would be severely perturbed if she went and got an abortion and gave me no say in the matter. I realize its her body, but regardless of whose body it is, that child does not belong to just her just because her body is the one caring for it for 9 months. How would that be any different than me killing my husband? His mother could say that if I didn't want to be with him she would let him live with her, but hey....he lived with me for the past 3 years so I get to decide whether he lives or dies? Its ridiculous.

I think the father of the child should have every right to know. I mean it is his to. He should have a say so on how he feels about the woman having it. I also think since the woman is pregnant and she wants to keep it, then even if the male says no she should continue to have it because she wants it. I would have the child if the father was willing to care for it. I would have it either ways.

Yes the man has an opinion, because the man has just as much say so in the child life as the mother does, i don't think a woman she have an abortion unless the man agrees that that is what he wants too!

The Man deserves to know if the Woman is pregnant. They should discuss it and decide between the 2 who created the Baby.
If the couple can't reach a conclusion, It ultimately is in the hands of the woman. A man can't force a woman to have a baby. I mean technically he probably could, but you get the point.
If the Man doesn't want the Baby, the Woman is completely responsible for her decision either way and must live with it and follow her heart so that she never regrets what she decided.
There are plenty of Single Moms that have chosen to raise a baby on their own and have discovered that this decision is the best one they have ever made.
My Advice is to "listen real carefully to your heart and trust that it will guide you."

I believe that a man should know if he got a women pregnant,
if she keeps it our not
One parent can not give a baby up for adoption without the other permission
Yes, I think abortion, should be the same way
There are reasons why a women may not choose to tell the father, even if she plans on keeping the child
Sometimes the women is right

It should be a mutual decision. It takes 2 to make a baby, therefore, it should take 2 to abort a baby. It is selfish of a man/woman to force an abortion when the other party does not agree. It should be a decision that both parties agree to.

I feel that the father SHOULD know if and when a woman's pregnant I feel that if a woman wants an abortion she should be able to but I feel the father should be there too! I personally don't feel that it's right that it's only the woman's choice. I know I'm probably going to get alot of bad comments and thumbs downs about this but oppinions are like butt-holes everyone has one.

For the first part that all depends on the situation with the man and the relationship. If it was one of those drunken oops I did my buddy things or a one night stand then no he doesn't need to know.
If on the other hand the woman and the man are involved in a long term loving relationship, then yes she has to tell him and consider his opinion in the decision.
Ultimately though it is her decsion on whether or not to keep the baby because it is her body and a baby will affect her life and career more than the mans.
