Sure! no with disipline(same with pet dogs, no afence) when taking a wrongfull action, getting hit on the rear and being told no helps stoping habits.
one remembers the pain when thing to do the act and repents. if the child is too young to remember, spanking is still a good idea. If the child did the act a long while ago he/she will not remember what they did wrong, spanking will do nothing.
